After suffering the outrage of thousands of patrons, taking down the Festival Guidelines page on their website, and issuing a response via Twitter, Electric Forest has finally revised their official alcohol policy to settle the confusion. The new policy clearly takes cues from that of Mysteryland, and Foresters will indeed be permitted to bring outside alcohol into the campgrounds, so long as the amount is within reason.
Electric Forest HQ has apologized with open arms for the confusion regarding the ambiguous statements on their original guidelines. However, the amendment is certainly more strict than their policy in years past, and liquor is notably absent from the permitted items. Read the full statement below.
