You had best keep an eye out for Megaphonix, I have a feeling he’s going to be making big waves in the next year or so. This newest track proves that he has what it takes behind the desk – whether he can translate it to behind the decks I haven’t seen, but I have faith.
“Out Of My Mind” pairs mainstage synth-laden basslines with stirring vocals to produce an excellent house banger. Too many times, mainstage house seems devoid of soul or vitality… it sounds hollow. I’m happy to say that “OOMM” brushes that worry aside. This is the kind of song that I envision when watching festival aftermovies, watching the best of the best moments. This is that soundtrack.
