We’ve known for a little while that Kygo would be releasing an album in 2016. There was never really any solid confirmation, but … we just knew.
Just this morning, Kygo released a 7-minute mega mix teaser for his debut album, titled Cloud Nine, to match along with his tour and festival. The teaser is extremely vocal heavy, employing vocals from both men and women to give the album a vibrant and warm feel.
From the sounds of the songs Kygo chose to tease, the album will be the epitome of tropical and chill, opting for a more laidback motif and forgoing any huge festival sounds. 
“Hey guys, Im sorry to say the album is going to be a little delayed. Ive been working on this album for a year and a half, so I dont want to rush anything now in the end and I want it to be perfect when I release it! Its 99% done so its very close now!
