On December 13th, 2015, Hardwell successfully threw a concert for the World’s Biggest Guestlist. Over 70,000 people made their way to Mumbai’s D.Y. Patil Stadium, with over 10 million fans from nearly 80 countries tuning in to watch the spectacle via livestream.
After witnessing the country’s poverty and seeing homeless children take cover from a monsoon underneath his own billboard, Hardwell vowed to make a difference during his next visit. Through the work of the United We Are Foundation and Guestlistevents.in, Hardwell’s World’s Biggest Guestlist was able to generate enough funds to benefit over 18,000 impoverished children through Magic Bus charity project. Founder of the United Welfare Trust, Shailendra Singh, also hints that they’ll be taking the World’s Biggest Guestlist idea to different countries to make a social impact.
