Daft Punk celebrated a second birthday yesterday as member Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo turned 42 (Thomas Bangalter turned 41 in January).
Aside from being one half of one of the greatest electronic music groups of all time, Guy-Man is a successful label owner, and has produced for a variety of other artists in the past. He co-founded the label Crydamoure with Éric Chedeville (1), with whom Guy-Man also performs as the musical duo Le Knight Club. (2)
Among other albums, he’s co-produced Kavinsky’s Nightcall EP with SebastiAn, and he also produced Sébastien Tellier’s 2008 album titled Sexuality. In 2012, he was featured on Tellier’s album My God Is Blue, producing the track “My Poseidon.” (3)
Another fact that most people won’t know is that Guy-Man is credited for designing the Daft Punk logo in the liner notes of Homework. (4) He also has two children. (5)
