Now this track, which I stumbled across on SoundCloud, is tagged as “existential funk.” I have no clue what that’s supposed to mean but I think this is probably one of the funkiest things I’ve heard all year, which should be expected of a classically trained jazz pianist!
Interestingly enough, despite the upbeat nature of the track, the lyrics, which paint the picture of a mutually destructive relationship, are the complete opposite.
