Reworking classic ’80s R&B into groovy house seems to be the ongoing trend at the moment. We’ve heard Sigala do it with “Easy Love”, Sam Feldt do it with “Show Me Love” and now we have Latroit offering another fresh 2016 revamp.
INXS are sampled for “Need Your Tonight”, which has in turn been flipped by bass music maestro Fawks. The LA producer has been the latest to join the city’s vibrant community of genre-less sound crafters, and everything he seems to touch turns to gold. Opting for a future house style this turn around, he adds his touch to “Need You Tonight” with warm, metallic synths that will have you busting out a shuffle in no time.
