VenessaMichaels has made a name for herself in 2015 as a connoisseur of ’90s culture and music.
Her latest adventure with MOONZz takes the Fugees’ classic and famous “Killing Me Softly” and breaks it down, builds it back up, and spits it out with a distinctly Destiny’s Child filter. Though, there’s still the jersey club and bounce to take into consideration.
The whole track has something that I’ve been missing in a lot of tracks that I’ve listened to recently: it’s just fun. So many producers put emphasis on technicality and production, and I do, as well. But sometimes, you lose sight of the fact that you should really have fun doing this. VenessaMichaels still has that twinkle in her eye, god bless her.
