Tomorrowland Receives Record Breaking Tickets Sales

Shaking off any claims that the ‘tomorrow’ brand is struggling in its native land, the Belgian festival ‘TomorrowLand’ sold out its local tickets in less than 40 minutes this year. This year marks a tighter sell-out span from when Belgian tickets went on sale this time last year, with last year’s sale window only spanning an hour. Comments from spokesperson Debbie Wilmsen hint at rising enthusiasm from the local Belgian population: “There have never been so many Belgians interested, [it was] the quickest pre-sale, waiting list and sales records were all beaten.” According to festival organizers, there will be a 20 percent increase in the number of Belgian attendees, with an estimated 130,000 people on the local waiting list at its peak.

Don’t worry, though, you’re not out of luck if you still want to take the trek to Belgium this summer. Sales for attendees abroad will go live at 5pm CET on Saturday the 6th of February. With approximately 180,000 people expected to touch down in the province of Boom from July 22nd to the 24th, this yearly gathering promises to be as diverse as ever.
