You’ve already gotten a tease of Rüfüs Du Soul‘s new album over the past few months, but now it’s time to enjoy Bloom in all its glory. Today, the second album from the Australian band drops and we couldn’t be more excited to finally hear it. So far, the four tracks that have been available to the public are: “Like an Animal,” “Say a Prayer For Me,” “You Were Right,” and “Innerbloom.” This small sample of has already whetted our appetites, as each offered it’s own special offering of Rufus’ unique sound.
We’re a big fan of quality house music, which RDS doesn’t disappoint on, especially on “Be With You.” In fact it’s hard to find a track on this album that wasn’t enjoyable, from the easy listening of “Hypnotised” to the more ambient sounds of “Innerbloom.” Bloom is a wonderful, indie-dance masterpiece that fans of The xx, Autograf, and Lemaitre will truly enjoy. If you loved the album, Rufus Du Sol will beg on tour in the US this spring too, hitting stops at Coachella, Firefly, and Red Rocks. Peep the full list of dates below:
