This latest remix from Lookas and SMLE takes the Australian Just A Gent to another plane of existence, no joke.
Both artists’ influences are easily discernible in the remix, as SMLE starts us off with his laid back future, dulcet notes; Lookas then takes the reigns and turns the energy up to 11 as Skrillex-esque bass stabs punctuate the melody with heavy kicks and snares.
The back and forth between the two producers feels like an organic b2b in recorded form. Usually, that kind of set up would feel forced or disingenuous; in this case, it feels like we’ve been waiting for it forever. 
Lookas’s basswave will continue to spread by way of his ongoing North America tour, aptly named the ‘Zero Gravity Tour’. Having kicked off last week at OMFG! NYE in San Francisco, the mayhem will ensue in Orlando, Austin, Denver, DC, Philly and beyond. Lookas will also join Carnage for an epic night out on March 12th before heading to his hometown for Miami Music Week.
