Even when I was just starting out listening to electronic music, I was finding remixes of Example tracks. Whether it was Flux Pavilion’s “Midnight Run” or Doctor P’s “Last Ones Standing,” or Skream’s feature on “Shot Yourself In The Foot Again” (you can sense a pattern), Example’s vocals were always clearly distinguishable and always left a positive impact on any track he graced.
Example was similarly featured on Jacob Plant’s “Reflections,” and that has in turn been flipped by JVST SAY YES in characteristic fashion. Mainstage synths and a bouncy house rhythm are replaced with a bass house powerhouse and it’s all over after that. If you’ve managed to hang on for the whole thing, congratulations.
