PVLMS is a duo that knows no boundaries, releasing a number of tracks that cover a variety of sounds. Their newest effort is a chill-trap styled song titled “No Tides,” and it’s a full-blown emotional ballad.
The track starts off with some somber synth work and bells, which are used to set the mood of the piece. Things take off rather quickly, as a slow, bass-heavy beat makes its way into the mix at full force. Vocal samples play out in the background, pitched and distorted to add to the poignant feel behind the track. A short interlude gives way to a double-timed section to offer a bit of variation in “No Tides,” before switching back into the emotional, bass-driven trap beat from before.
