Progressive house, generally in the vein of tracks like “At The End Of The Night” by Swanky Tunes & Arston, featuring C. Todd Nielsen, has become the go-to genre for uplifting mainstage anthems that dare artists to get on the mic and shout, “I love you all! Thank you so much for being here with me!” It’s not bad – it’s just repetitive and predictable.
That’s generally why I’m so happy when a producer like Jayceeoh comes along and puts their own original spin on things. While the track is definitely within the trap realm, the feel-good nature of the whole thing is left intact, and that’s intentional.
“For this remix, I wanted to keep the essence of the original tune while “turning it up some” to give it that Jayceeoh thump to work in a trap set. Very happy with how this came out and I hope you love it as well!” – Jayceeoh
You could call this heaven trap for the uplifting synths and rhythms, though the pattern is still decidedly trap. Whatever you want to call it, we’re really loving this piece. You can get this remix as well as all the others for “At The End Of The Night” on January 25th!
