Producer AR The Bushmaster has just uploaded his latest work, a fiery and deadly grime/dubstep hybrid called “Gassed.” It features intermittent vocals that maintain the track’s energy until the overwhelming punches of synth and bass make a welcome return. It’s currently available for free download here.
The track begins with immediate grime vocals and a distorted kick drum. Soon, the rhythms transform into a relentless machine gun fire of dark synth stabs and swipes of bass. A simple but immensely powerful percussion section leads the charge as rumbling sub bass anchors the whole thing from underneath. The vocals eventually return above the growling and screeching, but soon fade away to make room for more of the pounding synthesizers. The sounds evolve and overlap until the song’s close.
