Newcomer Chris Siegel is gonna have a promising 2016 if he keeps up with releases of this calibre.
“Jersey” is a rather lazy title for a rather exquisite tune. This hybrid jersey/jazz tune is impressive in the complexity of its layers and how it manages to combine sounds that you would never really think to combine. Wild sounds, classic sounds, weird sounds, beautiful sounds, it’s a cacophony of strangeness and musicality that is difficult to replicate.
Chris Siegel, though he is one half of Kiings, is still just starting out, in the grand scheme of things. He’d be a good one to keep an eye on.
