Redlight’s debut album, X Colour, came out late last year, filled with more than a few quality cuts. Most people interested in basic EDM will never dig deep enough to find out about producers like Redlight, but I’m happy that he eschewed any anxiety, and still put out a fantastic record that fans can enjoy for years to come.
One track in particular is extremely astonishing, “WTL (Where’s The Love)” featuring the ever so talented Andrea Martin. The song is deep and melodic, flowing smoothly like a soft liquid. Martin’s vocals add a deeper layer of complexity and emotion to an otherwise already impassioned song.
The music video, which doubles as a lyric video at times, embraces the convoluted nature of emotions and presents them in an ambiguous, amorphic string of shapes and colors.
