We thought the Disney vs Deadmau5 debacle was over as of last year… and legally, it is. But someone forgot to tell the Disney R&D department when they commissioned this LED mouse head from Polish design firm PanGenerator.
The deadmau5 and Mickey Mouse icons and logos were only slightly similar, however their brands represented completely different entities. Mickey was a lovable cartoon character, and the mau5 was all about high-technology and electronic music.
Now, Disney has intentionally made an LED mouse device – whether it’s a helmet or not, we’re not sure – that bears a striking resemblance to a Canadian we know very well. 
Disney’s version reacts to ambient noises, which potentially makes it even cooler than Deadmau5’s. Maybe it’s time they settle the feud for real and collaborate.
