Now, while the artists themselves are obviously a big part of Saturate’s success, much credit is also due to the label’s founder and chief, the man behind the curtain: BIOS. His musical curation has been on point from the jump and he truly supports the endeavors of the beat-makers he chooses to highlight. Featuring five original tracks and a champion remix from Yunis, the release is prime-time grime all the way through; the kind of tunes you expect to hear in a dark room with subs stacked to the roof and bodies flailing. Walls of bass, sledgehammering drums, and alien synth melodies collide to create a modern sound that somehow feels distinctly nostalgic as well.
