Kygo Collaborates with Mr. Brainwash for Upcoming Barclays Center Show

A name that continues to surface on this site and many other publications comes is the tropical house producer Kygo. From creating some of the most popular remixes including those of “Midnight” by Coldplay and “Miami 82” by Syn Cole to having the honor of creating the Ultra Music Festival Anthem which would become one of his latest singles, “Here For You,” Kygo continues to expand in popularity in ways no one could have foreseen. As further proof of his rapid success, Kygo will be performing live at the Barclays Center in New York City on January 21st, the biggest show of his career thus far.

To make the experience even grander, Kygo has enlisted the artistic assistance of street artist Mr. Brainwash for the upcoming show. The Frenchman who moved to and is now based in Los Angeles, Thierry Guetta (no relation), took up the moniker Mr. Brainwash to create art with a wide array of mediums. From paint brushes to stencils to spray cans, Mr. Brainwash has worked with a myriad of musicians including Michael Jackson, Madonna, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers and was the subject of the critically acclaimed, award winning Bansky-film Exit Through The Gift Shop.

This new collaboration of sorts shows Mr. Brainwash creating new T-shirt designs, live art installations and more. For now, we can capture a glimpse of what this full team-up will be through this promotional poster for the upcoming Kygo concert.

Grab tickets here to catch Kygo, , and Conrad Sewell live on January 21st.
