This is One Nghtmre & Boombox Cartel Remix You Should Be Listening To

I am sure everyone has had their fill of Nghtmre & Boombox Cartel remixes. But as their remix contest is coming to a close, I really felt the need to highlight one rendition of the incredible original that should not go unnoticed.

Wolfkin is an up and coming artist in the Portland area who is destined for greatness. He steps out of the box in a big way with his remix of “Aftershock” and you can really hear the originality in this tune. Bass house appears to be the foundation for this track, and all of the energy that’s added into it really shows what Wolfkin has to offer. It has this underground vibe to it with the synth progressions being used, and it has an upbeat energy that’s good enough to sink your teeth into. His transition in the second drop to a more trap infused style really defines his incredible capability of being able to experiment with all genres, and it’s pretty obvious his production skills are up to par. There’s no doubt in my mind that Wolkin is going to exceed all listener’s expectations. I certainly hope we get to hear more from him after the new year.
