Nicky Romero Finally Unveils Anticipated Ultra ID

Another incredible year for Nicky Romero, 2015 saw the Dutchman slay an OMNIA residency, continue charging his Protocol imprint, and once again own the mainstream festival circuit. After making his Ultra Japan debut, in addition to staples like EDC and Tomorrowland, of course he knows these are the opportune moments for unveiling new material. However, his set at Ultra Music Festival debuted one ID in particular that stuck in everyone’s mind. Now, hopes have been answered and his long awaited collaboration with Stadiumx is finally upon us.

Played on Protocol Radio last month, “Harmony” differs from our first encounter with the tune, now featuring Georgia Ku, whose vocals effortlessly melt into the track’s filtered build and emotive piano bridge. Nicky Romero’s work is entirely present, with slinking string pads and a forceful bassline to complement Stadiumx’s topline and percussive arrangements. This being Stadiumx’s third release on Protocol, to be working with the don himself is no small feat, and the Hungarian duo has pulled it off in style. Have a listen below and grab “Harmony” now on iTunes.

If you can’t wait to hear his latest single played live, Nicky Romero will be sounding the New Year in Style at New York’s Pier 94. Join Romero, alongside Travis Scott, The Chainsmokers, and Ansolo, for an epic celebration of all 2015 had to offer.
