It’s official, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has surpassed the record for highest grossing box office smash with over $120.5 million earned since its release on December 18th. Beating out the Friday record of such titles as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 ($91 million), Star Wars is expected to surpass $250 million by Sunday.
In excitement and honor of the film’s success, artist Chill Harris decided to treat his recent Portland audience to a specially curated visual spectacle.
Featuring colorful, neon images of some of the most well-known characters from the series, Chill Harris effectively revealed his inner geek as he performed to a welcoming crowd Thursday evening.
