BENTZ has a history for defying the boundaries put upon him by genres, and his latest effort with bass hero G-REX is no exception. Blurring the lines between trap, future bass and pop, their rework of TOkiMONSTA and MNDR’s ‘Go With It’ is an example to everyone in scene of what great music is really all about, irrespective of labels.
The tune is a summery-sounding, laid back yet upbeat fusion of styles, taking TOkiMONSTA and MNDR’s original vision into huge consideration, which is easy to tell upon listening to the finished product. Easily as catchy as the original, if not more, this will be in your head for days. Punchy, synth led basslines are draped over trap-style hi-hats, whilst the breakdown sees dubstep inspired drums come into play.
