YouTube Releases Annual “Rewind” Video

While we’re all counting down the best tracks and artists of the year, there’s another medium that also has a lot to look back on – videos. Every year, YouTube looks back on the site’s most popular viral videos, and uses some of the year’s biggest tracks from VEVO, too.

The company called upon Avicii to make an official 5-minute remix on top of the traditional mashup that features Felix Jaehn‘s Remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader,” Silento’s “Watch Me,” Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean,” The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face,” and of course Major Lazer’s “Lean On.” The last of which also made the list as the 4th most watched music video in 2015, too. The 2015 YouTube Rewind includes 150 YouTube contributors from all over the world as they Nae-Nae, recite Shia LeBeouf’s wacky inspirational video, and even revisit the first viral videos from back in 2005 when the site first launched.

Watch the video below and see if you can remember every internet sensation represented in the production.
