“Emoji” has been a breakout hit for Pegboard Nerds, on their latest EP Pink Cloud.
The duo have followed up the single’s success with a creative video featuring a variety of real-life emojis among the day-to-day grind of the average individual. Playing off of the playful nature of the track itself, the video is equally engaging and fun.
The music video was created in part by Patrick Jean, whose short film “Pixels” spawned a misguided spinoff from Adam Sandler this year. This release caps the Pink Cloud EP campaign, a mission to fight breast cancer since October that has raised over $35k since its launch.
