No, that wasn’t a typo; no, it wasn’t supposed to read Bare Noize. Yes, Bare has come back to bass music – but it’s for a good cause. Following the events of November 13th in Paris, Terravita & Bare created “Drop Bass Not Bombs,” a plea to the world in the form of music to promote peace rather than violence.
Featuring spoken word lyrics from, as usual, Jon Spero of Terravita, the track highlights the atrocities and terrible events that have befallen various communities over the course of the past year, and probably even earlier. With an eastern twinge in the synths, it’s not hard to determine who or what the track is referencing.
“We wrote this with Bare the night of the Paris attacks. In dark times like the ones that we live in, artists have the responsibility to try and make a difference through their music or at least via their social voice. It’s important that we not only remember to be peaceful, unified, loving and respectful, and emanate positivity beyond our particular scenes and into the world around us. Our scene is large enough that we can actually make a difference globally through our positivity, love and light.” – Terravita 
Terravita and Bare are giving the song away for free now, but will later be on sale at all your favorite online retailers, and then 100% of the proceeds will go to helping the victims of this tragedy.
