Ultra Music have certainly been churning out the goods this year, with a steady, almost non-stop slew of varied releases – and they continue that run with something pretty interesting this week.
If you know who Topher Jones is, then you’ll know he wields the “Brohammer” something serious. But, as of this release, you’ll be seeing a more regal side to the Illinois based producer/DJ as he steps out with his current alter ego King Arthur. What better way is there to kick proceedings off than with a 3 track EP of head to head tracks covering both aliases?
‘Before I Was King’ allows Topher Jones to go up against his latest house music moniker by reworking “Brohammer” and two other classics in expressive style. It’s a curious experiment but we reckon it works – you can find out for yourself by copping a copy here.
