Vanic has a knack for making Zella Day sound absolutely superb. His remix of “Hypnotic” last year set a tough precedent, but I’m happy to say that “High” more than matches the work of its predecessor.
You don’t see many Canadian producers embrace the future bass sound that Vanic has, but being the Vancouverite he is, he’s more than embraced the West Coast sound by taking it to the next level with a much dancier feeling to complement Zella’s sultry vocals. Vanic’s future bass production can only be described as edgy, and “Hypnotic” does well to achieve that and so much more.
