Before charming the AMAs as half of Dap Ü, Skrillex tweeted a clip of himself slaying a club with his unreleased remix of Torro Torro’s “Make A Move.” Featuring the gnarled sound design of a genuine Skrillex production, this track bristles something fierce.
In the clip, we can hear the remix capitalize on the slinging electro and trace industrial influences of Torro Torro’s original mix as the track slurs into a relentless breakdown. Of course, a meaty dubstep rhythm replaces the house structure, and if you listen close, you can pick up the same style of background string pads from Skrillex’s “Bad Man” remix. Peep the clip below, and let the hype flow through you.
