Oliver Heldens is no stranger to the spotlight, but now he’s taking steps to shine it on some other young, deserving artists. The first EP release on his Spinnin’ Records imprint Heldeep, entitled Heldeep Talent, is finally here and it is literally the best thing you’ll hear today.
Featuring contributions from Niko The Kid, Jonas Aden & Robby East, Bojac, and Death Ray Shake – Heldens really worked to bring in a special flavor of artists unlike anything that’s been seen before from such a powerful taste-maker.
Our favorite are undoubtedly the first two tracks in the EP. Niko The Kid delivers with “Slip Away,” a track we’ve been hearing everywhere that instantly becomes stuck in your head. Meanwhile Jonas Aden & Robby East deliver the strongest of the 4-track release with “Fall Under Skies,” which combines the best of 125 bpm, fat, future house bass lines and hauntingly beautiful vocals for nearly 4-minutes of thunderous melodic bliss. With almost 650,000 plays already, it’s evident that this one is a hit!
