Martin Solveig has always been known for his infectious jams. From “The Night Out” to “Intoxicated,” Solveig has always had a knack for club to radio dance tracks. His sound in the past year has completely transformed to tunes with a hard, unconventional bass line, especially his latest track “+1.” While vocalist Sam White’s full voice sounds suited for a great UK garage tune, Solveig puts it over a playfully melodic breakdown and a drop that sounds like modern version of C+C Music Factory.
Remix duties this time around belong to Tujamo, who’s coming off the success of “Cream” wtih Danny Avila. The German house producer fattens up the track to make more massive but also makes a few subtle changes to the bassline without making it sound completely different. This is just one remix of the official “+1” remix package out on December 11, which includes tracks from Delta Heavy, Bart B More and more. Listen to the tune in full below:
