The Verge Explores Why Our Brains Love Music With Bass

We all love bass lines in music, but until recently, we have never truly understood why. One of the top publications on the internet, The Verge, recently explored why our brains are so hardwired to enjoy various types of bass citing various research done in recent years.

In the 2 minute video, The Verge explore how humans as a species may be hardwired to respond to various types of bass before we are even born. Scientist believe that the early bass lines we hear in our mothers womb, i.e. the heartbeat and rhythms of voice, are actually crucial to early speech development.
