In a world that’s constantly plagued by violence and despair, it’s important to reflect on the happy moments of love, laughter, and peace. After all, isn’t that what life’s all about?
Norwegian DJ/producer Ørjan Nilsen is calling for fans to be a part of the upcoming music video for his new single featuring Canadian singer Mike James, “What It’s All About.”
After premiering the track on Armin van Buuren‘s recent A State of Trance episode, Nilsen personally invited fans to submit short 15-20 second clips of them sharing happy moments with family, friends, pets, or simply celebrating life. The official music video will then be compiled of this submitted fan footage with the hope to spread a little love and joy.
With the concept of Nilsen’s fan-made “What It’s All About” video, he is proving that music is and should be so much more than sounds eloquently strung together. Music is a communal experience that has the capacity to bind people together through happiness and sorrows alike.
Fans have until November 29th to submit their videos to [email protected] and become a part of a bigger movement to spread positivity into the world. To show some love back, fans whose videos made it into the final cut will receive a limited edition “Love Is What It’s All About” t-shirt, a personalized card and autograph from Ørjan Nilsen, and a chance to be personally featured on his social channels.
Whether it be playing with your kitten, dancing at a concert, or hugging your best friends, it’s time to show the world that love is What It’s All About.
