Every time I get a notification or email from these guys, my heart starts racing a little. PromiseLand is one of those groups that you never quite know what ideas they’ve got up their sleeve when they put out a song. Their latest track, “Wood”, is a perfect example, as they blend about eight different styles of house all into one massive hit. It’s got a little bit of deep, future, even tech house intertwined in its layers, all building to a minimal yet electrifying drop. New melodies fade in and out, all the while moving your rave speedometer from 0-100 in a heartbeat.
