The #18 DJ in the world, Nicky Romero, has been pretty quiet this year, and fans have been vocal in letting the producer know their unhappiness. His latest release was “Lighthouse,” which came out quietly 4 months ago on his own label, Protocol Recordings.
However, Nicky has just released a statement concerning his absence. He admitted to suffering from anxiety for 2.5 years, refraining from studio time to seek out medical attention. A busy tour schedule did not help either, so it’s understandable why he has been slacking on the releases. However, he assures his fans that he is ready for 2016, citing a successful turn of events due to a book by Paul David “At Last A Life.”
