Yes, this name is totally ludicrous, but the song is actually worth listening to at least once. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, a Dutch duo who pulls no punches about their sound or their career choices, are the only pair I can think of to name a track “Horny Bounce” and be dead serious about it. When I reached out and asked why they picked such a peculiar name for a track, they only had this to say:
“It’s cool to bounce your horns off.”
Fortunately for them, they’re right. The track has that signature SJRM bounce, which lately has been infused with tribal or latin elements. “Horny Bounce” deviates heavily from the Dutch big-room electro vibe and feels more at home in a festive, South American celebration like Carnival. Though the US is gearing up for those chilly winter months, this new tune from Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano might be the heat we need to keep us warm til festival season.
