As many of you probably know, Decadence is a Denver-based annual NYE festival hosted by Global Dance, one of Colorado’s biggest event promoters. It has been located in Denver for 11 years and three years ago expanded into Phoenix, Arizona. This NYE Decadence debuts in yet another market…Salt Lake City, Utah. The lineup highlights just how epic of a show it will be. Knife Party was just announced as the headliner and additional acts include Infected Mushroom, Pegboard Nerds, Figure, and Virtu…an absolutely massive bass music lineup. Decadence SLC will be Thursday, December 31st and is co-hosted by Global Dance and V2 Presents.
As I write this announcement about Decadence Salt Lake City, I can’t help but to laugh because I am actually sitting at the airport getting ready to travel to Salt Lake City. You may have seen several articles from me recently about this incredible city (Aspire to Inspire on V2 Presents and Das Energi preview/review articles), which happens to be extremely underrated as a market for dance music. For nearly 20 years V2 Presents, Utah’s most renowned event promoter, has brought out some of the biggest names in dance music. They host Therapy Thursdays every week at a nightclub called Sky in downtown SLC, several shows per month at the legendary concert venue The Great Saltair, and four annual festivals: Get Lucky, Get Freaky, Das Energi, and now Decadence. And V2 clearly isn’t stopping anytime soon…
Come out to Decadence Salt Lake City to support the growing scene in Utah and to head bang to some dubstep, drum n’ bass, and electronica among other genres!!
