Back in July, Hardwell established his own charity, the United We Are foundation, named after his debut album, with the goal of improving education. While the main event tied in with the charity, Hardwell’s massive “World’s Biggest Guestlist” Event, is still a few weeks away, Hardwell nevertheless found another way to break a record in the name of charity!

Playing a massive “I AM Hardwell” Show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, Hardwell actually broke the German record for biggest DJ show ever with 40,000 in attendance to party with the former #1 DJ in the world. In what can be described as nothing less than a massive success Hardwell posted a photo of himself holding two cheques, one for €10,000 from bigcitybeats as well as a massive €40,000 donation from himself! (That is approximately $54,000 in USD.)
