It’s been a relatively quiet year for Max Vangeli, who became renown for his partnership with An21, Steve Angello‘s brother, and his releases on Angello’s Size Records. Vangeli has kept himself busy in other ways, launching his own production forum and developing his very own record label. Never an artist to keep his fans waiting for too long, Vangeli decided to drop a free single exclusively with Your EDM.
Titled “Say My Name”, Vangeli’s single incorporates the same sample used in Porter Robinson‘s early hit “Say My Name”, but he gives it a high-energy progressive reinterpretation. “Say My Name” stands out in the sea of run-of-the-mill releases principally for its escalating rhythm, a callback to progressive house’s golden era. The build-up and drop organically flow from each other, a welcome synergy fitting for Vangeli’s new single.
Vangeli also told us his inspiration behind the track: 
“As 2015 is coming to an end I have a lot of you asking questions about my upcoming releases. As many of you know I am launching my own record label which takes a lot of time and effort in order to make the project a success right out the gate. I love my fans and have decided to treat all of you with a record I made initially intended for a release on my label. With that said as you all wait for the big launch I am teaming up with Your EDM to give away one of my brand new records for free! A lot of you already know this one and its called “Say My Name” which I have been blasting around the world all summer! This is a way of me saying thank you to all the amazing fans around the world patiently waiting for my new material still to come! Hope you like this one as much as I do!!!
