When you think of vocal powerhouses in today’s music scene, one of the names that has stayed very close to or at the top has been Adele. Even better, a lot of her music has been remixed by some of today’s top producers. Her seminal hit “Rolling In The Deep” was remixed by none other than Avicii, Axwell’s remix of “Hometown Glory,” even Jamie xx has had his hand in a remix.
Her newest single, “Hello,” has already reached nearly 100 million streams on YouTube in less than five days. Obviously, people are taking notice.
What we’re most looking forward to, though, are the remixes that will be coming out. Her voice calls for reinterpretation of the electronic nature, and I think that there are plenty of people and styles that could pull it off. (Melodic dubstep and liquid DnB come to mind.)
