The Chainsmokers Kick Off Friendzone Tour With New EP

Over the summer, The Chainsmokers embarked on the pretty momentous task of releasing a new original track every month; and boy did they deliver. Starting out with “Good Intentions” in May, the duo recently finished things off with their latest single “New York City,” an EP release, AND the start of their Friendzone Tour – talk about a busy day.

Similar to their other summer releases thus far, this is a synth-driven progressive house killer with a strong emphasis on vocals and a truly catchy hook.

With regards to Bouquet EP, The Chainsmokers more or less wrapped up all of their summer productions in one handy six track release for all their fans. Featuring their biggest hit of the summer, the supremely catchy “Roses,” this EP is aimed at the new (and old) fans of The Chainsmokers who have missed out on their busy summer or only recently hopped on the bandwagon.

The EP’s release couldn’t have come at a better time, as The Chainsmokers are about to kick-off their Friendzone Tour in Nashville on Friday. Featuring a whole host of talented special guests including MatomaAutograf, Louis The Child, Shaun Frank, SNBRN and more, this looks like this could be one of most exciting tours of 2015.

Tickets for Friendzone Tour can be found HERE on their Facebook page with tickets already available for each stop. If you’re digging “New York City” and the rest of Bouquet – EP, you can purchase it on iTunes HERE.
