Martin Garrix, the 19-year-old superstar who made a whopping $17 million in the past year, just beat out Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Avicii & Major Lazer to win best electronic artist in the world. Announced at the MTV EMA show and chosen by popular vote, it’s nice to see that Garrix is finally getting the recognition he deserves after the DJ Mag Top 100 fiasco.
