Eric Prydz Takes To Twitter To Bash Opening DJ For Playing His Music

It is an unwritten rule, but quite a common one, that opening DJs should not play the headliner’s tracks.

Whether the opener should try to go as hard or harder than the headliner has actually been up for debate recently, but the rule of playing the headliner’s own tracks has been pretty well set in stone for years. The rule is even more applicable when the headliner’s set consists of 90% their own music – such as Eric Prydz.

At a show last night in Montreal, Eric Prydz was waiting to take the stage and listening to the opener when he heard something strange… his own music. But it got worse.
