Saturday Night Live makes stars out of more than just comedians and actors. The show regularly features musical guests, and these performances range from promotional performances for new albums to debuts of entirely new material. SNL has featured very few EDM performers in the past, but the show will feature a high-profile act in the genre very soon.
Disclosure, riding high on their tour for their recent album Caracal, will make their SNL debut on November 14. Previously featured on such late-night shows as The Tonight Show, Disclosure comes to SNL with their brand-new live show in haul, including upgraded visuals and production. To cap off their national television gig, the performance will feature guest appearances from Sam Smith and Lorde, presumably to sing their respective features “Omen” and “Magnets.” The episode will be hosted by actress Elizabeth Banks.
