Pierce is one of those producers who really appreciates the unique quality of live instruments, and never passes up on an opportunity to incorporate them into a song, even if the original doesn’t have them. Case in point: EDEN’s “Nocturnal.” When I doubled back and listened to the original version, I expected to hear a fun acoustic jam. But EDEN’s track uses more electronic production than Pierce’s take on the tune, which makes this an even more impressive remix. To transform “Nocturne” and essentially compose a guitar riff from scratch that perfectly highlights EDEN’s amazing voice proves that this next phase of Pierce Fulton’s career is going to produce some truly cutting-edge music.
