John Savage has shown that determination with the first single from his upcoming Intense EP, “Fantasy.” Blending pleasant sweeps with soft and mystical pads, Savage is able to create a universe within his sound that transports listeners to another dimension. His goal – the horizon – is opposite that of bangers. And while bangers and musicality aren’t inherently mutually exclusive, that often happens to be the case.
