After the stunning backlash and frustration over the DJ Mag Top 100 announcement earlier this week which included heated comments from Hardwell, other artists have started to chime in voice their complaint about the clearly flawed system.
While Kaskade took to Twitter to have a back and forth with DJ Mag, Axwell & Ingrosso decided to address their fans at a show after the DJ Mag Top 100 reveal.
Keeping it PG and only slightly passive aggressive, Axwell explained to the crowd how happy they were with winning #17 without asking for a single vote. To the duo, this signified that enough fans around the world wanted to elevate them to something beyond what they had even asked for. This act of loyalty from fans far outweighs DJ’s who actively marketed and campaigned in order to “get number 1”.
