Martin Garrix and Julian Jordan are long-time friends and collaborators who have been killing it for years now on very similar parallels. Now the two have sat down for a candid interview with questions derived from Facebook during Amsterdam Dance Event, and they both open up a great deal about how they have developed over the years into the star EDM acts that they are today.
Garrix briefly mentions his split with Spinnin’ Records, how the industry has evolved over the past year and how he has reinvented himself to become a more melodically inspired act. Martin also reveals his dream collaborators to be Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, which are two artists we would very much like to see work with the likely new #1 DJ (even Hardwell agrees he might win).
The 19-year-old cash king also makes the stunning announcement that we’ve all been waiting for – what his plans are for releasing new music. And the answer for the immediate future couldn’t have us any more excited. The dutch star simply wishes to give his music away FOR FREE – an act we can’t help but applaud.
