Lyric videos have become all the rage in the music video world. The videos help fans visualize the lyricism behind their favorite songs, but sometimes creators get lazy and just slap lyrics onto a generic background and call it a day. Russian production duo Zeskullz chose not to go that route for the lyric video to his latest track, “Life”, which Your EDM premieres today.
The lead single off Zeskullz’s upcoming EP Life, which releases on October 16, “Life” is a stomping deep house anthem that paves an exciting road for the young producer’s career. Zeskullz packs the track with a deep synth, dance floor-ready high-hats, and some catchy vocals from Demirra. The lyric video runs at a fittingly breakneck pace, juxtaposing the track’s lyrics with gorgeous imagery of everything from shots of space to slow-mo captures of rain dropping on plants. The video transitions from image to image with snappy editing, complementing the track’s bumping grooves.
